Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident

Fort St. John RCMP continue their investigation into the fatal motor vehicle accident Sunday night that claimed the life of a 23 year old Fort St. John man.
At around 7:30 pm, Fort St. John RCMP along with Fort St. John Fire and rescue and BC Ambulance services were called to attend the scene on the Cecil Lake Road, near the Beatton River campsites. The lone occupant of the vehicle was located deceased at the scene. Per his family's request, his name is not being released at this time.
RCMP continue to investigate if alcohol was a factor in the death.
This is the 8th fatal motor vehicle accident in this year, just one behind last year's total of 9 fatal motor vehicle accidents.
