Local School Target of Vandalism

Dawson Creek RCMP is continuing to investigate the break in and vandalism of Parkland School near Farmington. At approximately 6:30 pm on Sunday, June 22, police responded to a break in at the school. Police found a window smashed and the exterior walls and playground equipment spray-painted.
Repairs, including repainting the exterior of the school were completed at a considerable cost to taxpayers. Police believe those responsible may have been riding ATV's and reside in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or crime stoppers.
