Fatal Collision

An accident Sunday afternoon has claimed the life of Astral Radio Media Peace Region News Director Brian Hill.

The accident occurred at roughly 1:30pm when a taxi was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of 93rd Avenue and 96 A Street. The taxi had been attempting to make a left turn onto 96th Street when it was struck by the pickup. The driver of the pickup truck suffered no injuries, while the driver of the taxi was taken to the Fort St. John Hospital for assessment and was later released. Hill was a passenger in the taxi.

Currently the RCMP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to come forward with any information they have. You can reach the Fort St. John Detachment at 250-787-8140.
