Curbside Recycling Coming To Dawson Creek

Curbside Recycling collection is now available in Dawson Creek .

Starting February 1st, residents who have their garbage collected at the curb are elgible to sign up for curbside recycling collection service. At a cost of $12 a month, particpants can choose a 3-12 month subscription to the bi-weekly pickup, with no bag limit and minimal sorting.

In Fort St. John, the collection service began in September 2008 and so far, over 450 people have subscribed to the pick up service.

Lindsay Heal, General manager of the Eco-Depot Recycling Centre, says after such a successful outcome in the Energetic City it was time to expand their services to the Mile Zero city.
