Vancouver teen-pop trio D-Cru consists of vocalists Tanessa Tompkins, Tito Chipman, and Craig Smart. The group's bright harmonies and hip-hop-inspired beats -- displayed on singles such as "Show Me" and "I Will Be Waiting" -- made them staples of Canada's Top 40 and paved the way for the U.S. release of their self-titled debut album, which arrived in Fall 2000. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
