A joint venture between Mixer magazine and DMC (home of the mixing championships), the fifth volume in the 7 Live series finds the youngest veteran on the jungle scene finally getting a forum for his top-level mixing skills. J. Majik moves easily back and forth between housey territory and the more paranoid atmospheres of tech-step, enhancing the one with the other -- as on his transition from a rare diva vocal ("Midnight" by Un-Cut) into the tougher V Recordings production "Picture on the Wall" by Trinity, and on into the smoking "Hush Hush" by Shimon. Read More
