The 1997 debut release by Canadian pop band B'ehl (out of Winnipeg, Manitoba) was entitled Only a Paper Moon, and was released by Winnipeg label Endearing Records. The collection was produced by John Sutton at Winnipeg's Private Ear Recording Studio. The disc features the original lineup of Melanie Barnes and Allison Shevernoha on guitars and vocals, bassist Bob Somers and drummer Dan McCafferty.
